No. Which is why much of the criticism he receives is justified. So far, he lacks a killer instinct, mental toughness and the unusual drive that makes all time greats different from just great players.

If he did, for Christs sake, he has the worst hardest Ive ever seen! The last 3 games especially I dont think Ive ever seen a worst effort on both ends of the court.

Thats my biggest problem by far with his game. How does anyone not try hard in the Finals? What is that? He's a headcase of epic proportions.

No, and honestly, that should have a worse effect (and I think it has) on his public perception than just playing poorly.

He needs the killer instinct that star players need. He looked like he was to afraid to try to take over the game and was content on not having the ball in his hands. If your going to make statements that your going to win 7 championships you need to take control in the NBA finals. Everyone knows he has the physical tools to do it too.
