Just returned home from vacation in Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains ... we were there for 6 days, spent 3 of them completely in the national park. Every day that we were in the park my boys and husband had there LSU hats on as usual in addition to LSU t-shirts.

We got no less than 5 or 6 GEAUX TIGERS each day ... we really are everywhere!

Now, where is the countdown to kickoff clock???

This time yesterday I was in the San Francisco airport waiting for my plane home. A tall kid about 15 or 16 years old walked by in a purple and gold number 99 jersey with the word "Tigers" on it. We're everywhere!

This was one thing I liked when I didn't live in South Louisiana. I also would give a Geaux Tigers, when I was out of state and saw a fellow LSU fan. When I moved back after 12 years it took some getting use to seeing all the LSU gear and not saying Geaux Tigers!

Got one in Dusseldorf Germany and Koln earlier this year. Didn't give a $hit about the threat to Americans travelling abroad either. Wore my gear proudly.

I recently got out the military. I was stationed in North Carolina. Most of the stores there had Duke, North Carolina, NCSU and LSU gear in it. I thought it was comical. My friends from Alabama, Ohio and other parts hated it.

I was there too!! We only spent one day in Gatlinburg. Most of it in the mountains of North Carolina and the rapids.

I remember seeing some kids wearing LSU stuff near the aquarium in Gatlinburg on Thursday.
