Markeith Spears, not a major player but he did get some playing time at LSU.
Also Trindon Holliday though I was long gone by the time he made it to high school. I was friends with his older brother and I remember him telling me how fast his little brother was.

I went to elementary school with Matt Forte, a player we can all agree LSU "missed out" on.
In High School I went with Ryan Eades and Chris Faulk. Nice guys, both of them.

the late Lee High representin'.
I was there '86-87 and only recall Jim Greeley. Very nice guy. I didn't even realize he was playing at LSU until 1991, then he had that huge game 1 in the CWS for LSU.

God that must have been painful! I remember how terrible Live Oak was back then. Our JV would play the varsity team during the middle of the week... and beat them!

Painful indeed 60 something to nothing. We had states longest losing record at the time.0-29
On a positive note, I did pick Payton off and record a sack !!

Hard for me since you guys don't recruit much out here in Oregon if at all but some guys who are at least somewhat notable:
Joey Harrington graduated from my high school in Portland in 1995 (I graduated in 2007), Erik Ainge went to HS 2 towns over from my hometown, Ndamukong Suh went to HS less than 5 minutes away from my HS, and Troy Polamalu went to a small HS in southern Oregon.
As for baseball, Jacoby Ellsbury also is from a small town not far from Portland. The entire pitching rotation from Oregon State's first national championship baseball team in 2006 was from Oregon: Jonah Nickerson and Dallas Buck both were from cities not far from where I live and their relief pitcher (Kevin Gunderson) went to my HS.

If I knew anyone who went to LSU who came from Oregon then I'd list them
Only other Oregon player outside of Ainge who even went to SEC country that I can think of is OSU coach Mike Riley playing for the Bear as a walk-on.

I went to East St. John. Timmy Byrd (not a major a player at LSU but a great HS QB) was four year's older than me. ESJ won state my freshmen year (although at the time, ESJ was only 10-12 grade).
Before it was ESJ, it was called Leon Godchaux. AJ Duhe (great at LSU, also a rookie of the year w/Miami if my memory is correct).
Louis Lipps (have no clue why LSU didn't get him) was there most of the same years as T Byrd. Also an NFL rookie of the year.
Two from Reserve, LA.....
Then, Perrilloux, Stefan Francois, and a bunch of other stud athletes still coming/going from there to various BCS schools.

I went to Baton Rouge High with Steve Cassidy, a solid defensive tackle in the 70's. It was just for one semester, since my family moved during the school year. But he was a class act that everyone respected & also an outstanding student.
