Just found out two of the dudes that work here, that I thought were like 4 years younger than me, are a year and two years older than me. Inferiority complex has significantly diminished in the last hour.

I didn't expect them to really know the difference, I just thought it was funny when this girl was like "OMG YOU'VE NEVER BEEN TO CHIPOTLE?!"

This is how all my friends from big cities act. They sbsolutely love the chains and don't understand how I could have ever lived without Chipotle, Panera, etc.

Chipotle is pretty good though...I actually like Swanky's more (local memphis shop). RSBR, you should check it out.

I just called my mom from work and she said, "You are still at work?". I think she is oblivious to entry-level jobs.

ETA: To add to that, I was on the phone with her and said "he had a deliverable for the SVP" and she said, "What language was that?"

We ended up going to some place called BB's cafe, which happens to be a "Tex Mex/Cajun" place. [LINK] I figured I'd stay away from "specials" and gumbos and stuff that I don't think they probably do well, and just went with a shrimp/oyster poboy. In hindsight, I should have just ordered shrimp. The shrimp were predictably tiny, and the oysters were mussels, not oysters (I didn't say anything). The fries were good though, and the bread, while not Lidenheimmers, was not terrible. I'd go there again, I have low expectations for all but Mexican/Vietnamese/Indian food here.

Before the weekend starts I thought I would share a relevant by product of my increased consumption phase of really heavy beers the last 6-months. One Ten Fidy, one of my favorite stouts ever, is a 12-oz blast of 300 calories. I can only imagine the load on a bomber of oak aged chocolate Yeti. This explains the 10-lb weight creepage over the past 6-months. FML, damn you good beer, no more 20 oz mugs at T-Mac. Got to get back to tee totaling and additional weight lifting. Ah, well, will save some money avoiding high end beer. See the random money thought connection?

In between bar exams, but what in the hell just happened for the market to go from -100 to even in less than a half hour?

Especially given the rate of insider selling, take with grain of salt given it's a Market Watch article:

Man if I could stop drinking for three weeks, just like nothing altogether, I would probably drop 10 lbs without doing anything else.

I knew that stuff wasn't calorie free, but 300/12 oz is through the roof. Yes, if I gave up beer totally for 6-months would probably drop 20 lbs easy. I bet a Yeti bomber is 500 calories along with blue label Chimay.

Ten Fidy

But, it's not like it isn't a thing of beauty, though.

My quest to physical and financial fitness begins Aug. 1.

I have partied my arse off since the CFA, but I am signing up for my new gym when I get back from Dallas and I just set up my 401K's to auto deduct from my check today.

Great slideshow. I am in really good shape right now. Combination of working out, eating semi-well, getting some regularly, and normal waking hours help me in much better shape.

We just talked about this at lunch. Its so much easier to do in college. I don't get up early enough to go run at 6 AM, and I don't have the energy to do it when I get home at 830. My solution is to park 9 blocks away from work and effectively walk about 1.8 miles each day.

Congrats Bro.

I'm about to sneak out of the office and walk downtown. Shoot me a text and we'll meet up.
