Heard this rumor... Someone said they heard it on the radio.

The closure will be in effect from midnight Friday until 10 a.m. Monday.

Do they think it will be magically better on Monday or something?

Affects the Amite, Tickfaw, Blood, parts of Diversion Canal and Blind River. Just talked to my dad whose at their camp on the Amite. He said the water is high but not nearly high enough to close the river. Be interesting to see if Ascension goes along with this.

shite we were kayaking on the Amite between I-12 and Port Vincent. Do yall think they will mess with paddlers?
