I asked GOHSEP about this sand boil on facebook (and linked to the video) and this was their response:
Louisiana Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness The USACE & Ponchatrain Levee District are aware of the sand boil and have been out to the site perform their flood fight mission. They are also visiting this site daily and will continue to monitor it. If anyone has any sandboils to report in the EBR area please contact your EBR Office of Emergency Preparedness at (225) 389-2100. Thanks!
