Jasper was money.... I think, for the most part, the fanbase has forgotten how important special teams were to our success last year. The basher crew sites the defense for winning games, "despite the offense". But truthfully, getting consistent FGs aided our effort.

We know what we're getting from the returning players (hopefully they continue to develop). It's the unproven players that become full time starters that I'm most concerned about... and interested in seeing succeed.

With the struggles on O the last couple years, I dont think most fans realize how valuable Jasper was. We take 45 yd FG's for granted.

I have two and their pretty vague.

1 – Interior front seven – Last year teams went off-tackle and around the edge on us due to Nevis and Shep up the middle. This year teams will try to go up the middle against us. We have some good players at DT, but not all the much proven depth and a new MLB in Minter.

2 – Special Teams – Like someone mentioned, people forget how important special teams have been for us lately. Say what you want about Robinson’s recruiting efforts (or lackthereof), but he fielded elite special teams units. Without them we don’t beat WVU or UNC and a number of other teams.

Those would be my main two.
