You wouldn't be able to take them head on. Shoot the one with the highest rank then disappear. An experienced hunter is more than likely a better shot than the average enlisted man that may have never held a weapon before boot camp.

I think the invading Army would face what we are facing now fighting overseas....
Fighting on someones home turf and fighting a people defending their Home Land...
Also most of the hunters I know don't have a ton of ammo laying around for their hunting rifles. I only have 2 boxes of 270 and 2 boxes of 7mag sitting in the safe.

Actually, I have two good friends that joined the marine corp. They went in as infantry and both joined armored recon. We were discussing firearms training recently, and they both said the military prefers recruits with little to no experience shooting a rifle, so they don't have to spend time breaking what most likely is considered to be improper technique.
