Its official. A blending of the two is the future for RIM. They need to focus more on the hardware and the exchange capabilities and leave the software/apps to Google.

I've recently added Leo Laporte & Friends' TWIT (This Week in Tech) podcast to my podcast roll and it's pretty good. Leo is decent but he always has a whole host of knowledgeable guests on. I think you'd like it. I travel a lot and have grown out of listening to music for the most part, so I've become a big podcast fan. This is the only tech cast I've found as of yet.

The reason I'm bringing this up is because there's a great chance this issue will be talked about in this upcoming weekend's podcast, so you may want to tune in (although Leo is an Apple loyalist, his guests are typically pretty diverse).

Otherwise, it's a pretty good way to stay updated on tech stuff and the guys typically have some pretty good input and are usually pretty well-documented as to where they've received the information they speak about.

Thanks, RSBR. I'll definitely check it out; it sounds right in line with my interests.

I can only hope to be placed on a tech project so that listening to these podcasts will actually help me with my job one day

I'm expecting it to be quite a luxury, I must admit.

You may also want to check out the Engadget podcasts. I used to listen to all three: Classic, Mobile and HD. There's a lot of overlap between the three but if you have a long commute or travel a lot, it's a good way to kill time.

Thanks. I just added the "Engadget" one to my podcast roll. I'm guessing that is the "Classic" one. Judging by the number of reviews, it's also the most popular:

Engadget No. of Reviews: 181
Engadget HD: 24
Engadget Mobile: 21

There's also a result for "The Engadget Show". It has 56 reviews.

I'm also trying out NPR's Tech podcast.

And for running/working out, I have "Tiesto's Club Life".

I think the Engadget Show is a video podcast. Never watched it though so can't comment on it.
