Wines I've had in the past week or so

I thought I'd post some of the wine I've had in the past week.
I can't "describe" wine or even critique it, but I enjoy drinking it so here goes.
The Anne Amie 2008 "Cuvee A" Pinot Noir. I think I paid $22 for it. Pinot Noirs aren't usually my favorite, but this wasn't bad. I'd drink it again.
Hall 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon.
This wine got a 94 from Wine Spectator (not sure which critic) so there was some 'hype' surrounding it. the '06 actually sold out of local (NOLA) stores quickly.
I don't know much about 94 point ratings, but this wine was definitely worth the $29 I paid for it.
I've got another '06 and a bottle of '07 that I'll wait to open.
Conundrum. I'm told this is Caymus' white wine.
I don't usually drink whites, so I only had 1 glass and it was pretty good.
Penley Estates 2006 Merlot.
This is the 3rd variety I've tried from this Australian winery (I really enjoyed their Shiraz and their Cabernet), but it's the first time I didn't like their wine. That being said, I don't usually drink Merlot so it's entirely possible that I don't know what to look for.
I finished the bottle, but I found it too "fruity." $20
Wily Jack 2007 Cabernet.
I bought this b/c Dorignac's had a "3 for $10" sale.
...All I can say is, it's worth the $3.34 that I paid for this bottle.
Lastly,
I attended a tasting for the Frank Family wines last week which included: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
All 4 varieties were good, but I will definitely buy the Cabernet (approx $50 local retail) & the Zinfandel (approx. $32) very soon.
I know wine isn't exactly a "hot topic" on here, but I figured I'd open it up for any thoughts/impressions.
Anyone?

Which Frank Family wine dinner did you attend? We were at the Friday night dinner at Fleming's. Won a bottle of the pinot noir and a bottle of the reserve Cabernet.
I liked all of the wines we tasted that night.

alajones 2 and I were at a dinner party Friday night and had a great wine. It was Barefoot Moscato. It is only like 5 bucks a bottle but it was the best sweet white wine I have had in recent memory.

Anne Amie's "Cuvee A" Amrita, a white blend is a great summer wine and even better with oysters.
