Mett is going to have to earn the starting position. It is not just going to be given to him. He was not just going to come in and split time with the 1st team with a senior QB in Jefferson. It's on him to prove himself. He has to take the starting spot, it won't be just given to him.

why, JJ didn't earn his. Then JJ didn't do enough to keep it either with last year's performance.
