Just Awful

After 10 years, I still can't believe we lost this one.

Has to be 05 Tennessee. As an outsider to the whole situation preceding it, I was absolutely heartbroken for everyone who was just looking for a few hours of enjoying LSU football. The fact that the game started so perfectly made it worse.

1959 game at Tenn. Lost 14-13. A few VERY questionable calls. Two critical turnovers deep in LSU territory gave UT it's points. LSU vastly out gained UT. Cannon (supposedly) stopped on two pt conversion. Ended our 19 game winning streak, and prevented BACK TO BACK NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS.

How about Matt Jones' throwing motion? Awful, downright awful. I'd put it up there with JJ's throwing motion.

For me, definitely Arkansas 2007. I really liked Putt and Flynn and that group of seniors and there was all that talk about Miles leaving. We had national title hopes. And I thought all of that was gone after we lost to Arkansas. There was just something in the air that day that didn't feel right. Somebody even made a post on here after the game that they could feel the winds of change.

Two come to mind. 1979 USC and 1982 Tulane.

I bleed purple and gold when it comes to football. That 79 USC and 82 Tulane lose definitley stick out.
But I am still not over the 81 loss to Indiana in the Final Four. Don't know why but it still bothers me.

This game damn near killed me. I was on medicine that day and couldn't drink, which may have made it better or worse, not sure. Then to make thing worse my fiancé and friends an I all went out to a billiards place and EVERY TV was on espnnews so the highlights ran about every 15 minutes it seemed like. I just about went crazy!!
