Hell, if we get on a hot-streak like we did in '08 we could find our way
that has happened once in LSU history and once in SEC history. you really think its going to happen again to the same team just three years later?

The team is due for some good breaks. They have lost a lot of very close games. It's not like LSU is getting trounced. They lost two 1 run games to Arkansas and 2-0 on Friday. Lost a few close ones to Florida.
Before the season I thought pitching was uncertain, but I knew there was a ton of talent there.
Hitting was going to be suspect with the new bats, and there are not a lot of pure stud hitters in this lineup. Mainieri needs to find a few in a recruiting and he needs to ignore (to some extent) how well they do other things (speed, glove) etc. He seems to like guys who can do it all. While that's great, you need guys who can just swing the stick even if they're slow or so-so fielders. Matt Clark is a good example.

That is what they said in 2008 about South Carolina's SEC record 22 game winning streak which is now an LSU SEC record.
Statistics are meaningless in baseball nowadays. Example, LSU struck out 10 times in the Northwestern game to a guy that has only tossed 25 K's all season and opponents BA against the same guy was over .300!!
What is my point???
WE CAN WIN 23 GAMES IN A ROW!!! Just because it has only happened once in our history does not mean we can not repeat it a couple years later! LSU football only had one national title before 2003 and now we have 3!!!!!!!
