The implication you and others are making is that Les Miles will start Jefferson because he is Les' guy ore because he is a senior and not because he is the best QB at LSU. That is stupid and if you were the one spaying attention you'd see its not true. He will play the best players. I know its shocking for some people to understand that 21-22 year olds are many times better than 18-19 year old HS studs. But the new guys are the unknown. So its easy to say they will be better. But we don't really know. If Jefferson starts it will be because he is the best QB, not because he is a Sr.

Oh come on... Mettenberger was leading Murray in their battle last spring, and out shined him in the spring game without having AJ Green to throw too. Murray is everyone's preseason first team sec this year. Jefferson would be on everyone's 12th team all SEC or probably behind back ups. To have Jefferson ahead of him is pathetic.

Your guess is as good as mine. Based on what Miles has said, experience and the ability to run outweigh pure passing ability. It's my guess that JJ is Miles choice for QB and he is being groomed to be just that.
