Any Tiger fans plan on congregating at a bar by the stadium prior to game time? For those of us that have to fly in and can't bring the appropriate tailgating setup.
not too many bars close to the stadium, keglers is close, damons isnt far, never been in either of those places though for pregame so I have no idea what the crowds would be like, if you're looking for a bar pregame, you might have better luck getting a group together downtown, somewhere on High street, as the rest of the city will be by the stadium tailgating. when it gets close to kickoff you can just ride the prt (from either the beechurst or walnut st stations) to the medical station. the prt is free on weekends and will run for an hour after the game is over on saturday night. heres a map of downtown for ya.

The Varsity Club is the only bar that's really right next to the stadium, but it will be extremely packed.

If you're looking for good beer in Morgantown your best bet is Jays Getaway which is downtown next door to the PRT station. Jays is a real craft beer bar, no liquor, just beer and wine, they pretty much carry the best beer you can find in WV. Second is Gibbys Pub on High street, they have about 25ish taps with a decent mix of micros in there, plus full bar and kitchen with live music. Its like stepping back into 1986 when you walk into Gibbys though, seriously the place looks like it hasn't changed in 25 years.
Keep in mind West Virginia is a beer wasteland when it comes to craft beer, kinda like Louisiana was 5 years ago, so don't get your hopes up for finding a bunch of good stuff. Pittsburgh is only an hour away and has a couple world class craft beer bars if you're into that sort of thing.
The brewpub downtown is just okay...
