My wife is going to Venice, Rome, and Florence. Is there anything I should tell her to bring me back foodstuff wise that we can not get around here? Thanks.

The one thing I would really have liked to be able to take bake were some of the cured meats and cheeses, but you're not supposed to bring that back through Customs.

And nothing you can't get in the States, but you can find some pretty good deals on wines. The 2004 vintage of Brunello is fantastic, and she can ship the wine or save some room in her luggage (right, it's a woman, never mind that idea) and bring some back in her checked bags.

Also, tell her to go to Trattoria Z'sa Z'sa when she's in Florence.

I have been to Z'sa Z'sa.

Custom shouldn't have a problem with meats or cheeses if they are vacuum packed. We did not have any issues bringing back Speck and Salami.

Wife did a tour of those cities last year. Had a great time. I got a bottle of cheap Chianti and a big arse Visa bill out of it. I enjoyed the wine.
