Anyone know the name of the song...

that LSU has played going to the bottom of the 8th in the last 2 games? It always pumps me up when I hear it, but have no idea what the name of the song is. Don't have much more than that other than I remember hearing it a lot during kingfish games in the 90s (no it's not cotton eye joe).

I remember "Callin' Baton Rouge" being played on Friday night, but I'm a little hazy on what was played in the 8th.

I'd say techno/rock or something like that, very guitar and synth driven. It's kinda like Zombie Nation- Kernkraft 400 but more of a rock style. Bad thing is I cannot even think of the rhythm of the song right now.

I have to admit. I hated Zombie nation when the other SEC schools played it last season, but the more I hear it the more I see how it could pump the crowd up and would not be that disappointed if they played it in Tiger stadium this season.

Maybe they just played the instrumental versions of "Thunderstruck" or "Get Ready for This" without the lyrics?

I don't think so, but hey maybe your right... If they play it again tomorrow I'll try to record it so maybe someone can ID the song
