Ive heard good and not so good things about Kimber, i.e. they have let their quality slip a bit in recent years.

Money being no object, go with Ed Brown. It will cost you over $3k though.

I have a kimber polymer target and a les baer premier tactiacl II. The kimber is a great shooting gun, but after shooting a les baer and feeling how "tight" everything is on the gun the kimber doesnt get used to much any more
