I've never seen the kid play so I will not give an opinion of his talents. However, just as scoring a bunch of points in college doesn't make you an NBA player, scoring a bunch of points in high school doesn't make you a college player.

Before you criticize LSU for not recruiting him, tell us who is recruiting him.

I've seen the kid play. He can score at the next level. He's a G. He drops 30 like it's his hobby. He is a better perimeter shooter than anyone lsu has right now. And it isn't close.

He almost broke the all-time state record for consecutive FTs as well.

If you put up 30 in a game a few times then I would say you might be a player, because some high school teams are just bad.

But when you are dropping 40 on people and scoring 30 20 different times, you can fill it up.

I have heard the kid has been approached by GT, Clemson, and a few SEC schools.

I've heard he has interest from Clemson, UNLV, Tulane, UL...granted, like the article states, he's really only exploded onto the scene this year so I can see how he wouldn't be on the radar for a lot of schools, but when you play at the lab school...

Anyway, I have my own theory. I hear he's been hooked up with Colis Temple the elder (who has obvious connections to U High) and from everything I've heard he and TJ aren't on the best terms.
