The bartender should ask you if you want a double, not automatically give it to you.

i knew the answer. i just needed to show someone she is living in the clouds on this topic.
LL, if they just make a stiff drink then it's a stiff drink. it's how they make them. if you can still order a double and they put double the liquor then that's their double.
