Will this end the "Ben is an elite QB" talk?

Big Ben is an elite QB, FWIW.

Not historically, but in the NFL today he is.

I agree with this. He may not be HOF great but there aren't many QB's your taking ahead of him today

55/91; 60.4 Comp%
642 yards
3 TDs
5 Ints

That are his stats for the 3 Super Bowls.

Obviously he is 2-1.

Along with his decent stats outside of the Super Bowl I would say he is a good active QB. I wouldn't put him anywhere close to Brady, Manning, and Brees. He shouldn't be anywhere near the HOF.

well put

I'd go with VERY GOOD qb

I think Manning, Brady, Brees, Rodgers are your only true Elite QBs

Rivers and Ben being the obvious next 2 with Rivers being a better all around qb and Ben being more clutch

He is elite today based on what? There are 5 quarterbacks that are unquestionably better than him right now. There are another 4-5 you can make a decent argument for that are better.
