No shite Sherlock that a 3-3-5 is a nickel defense. The point I was making is that just because we may have only had 3 D-Lineman on the field DOES NOT mean we ran a 3-4 the entire game. Once again you have not proven anywhere that we ran a 3-4 the entire game against Buffalo or any other game for that matter. What I do see is that you are interpreting what's said in those articles incorrectly.


In those articles it said the defense ran multiple sets not just 3-4 or dime packages. You are ASSUMING that all those sets were out of a 3-4 formation but nowhere does it state that as being the case.

You want to pull two articles of two games out of your arse & are sold that our defense plays more 3-4 then you are mistaken. We don't have the personnel to consistantly run a 3-4 & I don't why you can't that though your hard arse head.


I know for a fact the Gregg Williams has used 3-4 spacing & slants with the D-Line this year especially in short yardage & goaline situations. Its the main reason we were so stout in those situations. Maybe you were mistaking that for us running more actual 3-4 formations. If you don't know the difference between D-Lineman spacing & slant techniques compared to actual formations, then you need to find something else to discuss online. Since its winter & there's plenty of snow around the country, you should try the skiing message boards. They should be hot right now. You can blend in there & pretend you about skiing also.
