But ask yourself this, wouldn't Les know which one calls the plays and wouldn't he hire that one? That leads me to believe Fuente was the playcaller since he has the interview.

I think Les is interviewing the one that is a QB coach.

That too.

Just came across this LINK. While we're all over here drooling over Fuente, here's what the OSU cowpokes were thinking about him as a replacement for OC:

quote:

No thanks. TCU is where they are because of defense, not Fuente's offense.

quote:

People were on here throwing his name around last time. If he is such a stud why hasn't someone else scooped him up. UT needs an o-coordinator worse than we do. Meacham would be a better hire. IF we aren't going to do that we better get someone familiar with system. The fact that he is a squat is just the last nail in the coffin for me. I just think there are better fits.

quote:

My vote (which doesn't count for chicken-spit) would be NO to Fuente, sorry Justin-use someone else to further your
career

That's right, a coach most of us seem to want and the cowpokes don't seem to want him over there. Fuente wanted the USC OC gig when Kiffin went there but didn't get. Why did Kiffin not hire him?

I'm not one to take Kiffin's or a cowpoke's opinion, but they at least made me a double take.
