Good luck with the hire....College football is just better when UM is good.

I really don't think you'll have to worry about that anymore. Not because I think Brady Hoke is a sure thing, but because I think Les' heart is in Baton Rouge. Obviously Les is fond of his alma mater but he really loves LSU. You can tell its where he wants to be.

I feel this way, too! I don't care if Notre Dame is good.. but I really feel like things are messed up when Michigan isn't kicking butt in football.

If it's any consolation, LSU hired Curley Hallman, who's resume' featured a win against LSU when he coached at Southern Miss. That hire turned out to be a disaster for LSU. Hopefully Hoke is not that bad for you guys. The Hallman gamble set LSU back for years.

Hope so guy. Les was an also-ran when he came here and that has worked out.

Good luck

Definitely feel good about Coach Hoke after the press conference today. He's an easy guy to pull for and you can definitely sense that he's from the old guard pipeline.

He said all the right things, kept referring to OSU as "That school in Ohio"

Stop right there. The proper reference is theOverratedStateUniversity.

Same could be said for lots of coaches.

What is UM paying Hoke?

Thanks.
