Mccartney was trying to push Miles to go to Michigan and build the program back up. Said he was disappointed Miles didn't take the "premier job in all of sports".

McCartney's obviously still living in the early 90s.

Dude just give us something to be happy about right now, we need it.

Don't spoil this with the truth.

bullshite comment after his grandson spent 4 seasons at LSU taking up a roster spot learning how to be a coach. seriously that's fricked up.

maybe he should go back to sharing his thoughts on homosexuals.

eta: i don't mind TC being here and its one of the reasons i like miles. he was loyal to mcartney and did him a favor; mcartney turns around and spits on LSU. fricking. bullshite.

Where did he say this?

Is there a link? (Not being "that guy"...I am truly hoping there is a link)

ESPN is reporting that Michigan wanted Miles to go through the process and weren't ready to outright offer him the job.

1890's. Somebody should have told McCartney that Dave Brandon is a homosexual.

I took it as coming from a "Michigan Man" wanting to see Michigan get built back up. I'm sure Miles feels that way, too. Just not enough to be the coach thee.

Nothing to see here, move along.
