Pelini is a disaster waiting to happen.
You think there was a legitimate fear of the program collapsing with Miles? Just wait til Pelini gets here. Even I will fear a program collapse.
The referees will hate us. Parents of recruits will hate us. Conference officials will hate us. Pelini will undoubtedly get arrested for a DWI at some point. Please please please DO NOT HIRE PELINI! He's a solid coach, but the fear of embarrasment and program collapse under him is too much for me.

My biggest fear isn't Les leaving; it's LSU royally screwing up the next hire.

If they are looking at BP as #1 and/or him solely..it's a near certainty.
There are at least 5 to 7 better candidates than BP, with better longterm upsides, half of them stronger in their area of expertise than BP, that would say yes.
Get ready for Saban and Bama to own the West..and win 1 or 2 more BCSNCGs in the next three or four years..it's coming..especially with BP as LSU HC!
