A lot of what you are saying is largely due to the fact that the Capital One Bowl was aired on ESPN while the Cotton Bowl was on FOX. Therefore, ESPN gave this game no exposure. However, this was the only game on tonight (as opposed to 2 others at the same times as Cap1) and accessible from every television in America... definitely better than ESPN gave it credit for.
