highly unlikely that they'd bring a marked plane though.

No wonder they can't hire a coach - they don't even know what state to look in

There you have it.

Michigan can't even fly to the right city, much less hire the right guy....

This flight has nothing to do with football most likely.

Dont' know why they're here but this is from a controller at BTR. The jet had a big "M" on the tail.

What color is the M? Marshall?

explain to me why a Michigan jet would be in Baton Rouge today?

They decided to finally come down to see all the Katrina devastation. They heard that the Ninth Ward was a mess and they wanted to find if Baton Rouge was still underwater.

i don't think they're here to meet with anyone...its just a stop on the way to Georgia. A very, very untimely stop i might add.

I dont really believe in those kind of coincidences. Also, if im looking at that tracker right, it flew, from Georgia, to BR, then back to Georgia. Thats not an "unlikely stop"

why stop for 2.5 hours?

refuel? shite...i don't know.

But if they were meeting with someone don't you think they would be here for more than 2.5 hours? Unless they're meeting at the airport....that only leaves about an hour and a half (maybe less) to meet.

The piece of information we would need is how many people (if any) got off the plane and then how many got back on? Did someone get off in Baton Rouge and is planning to stay the weekend?

They might have just been dropping off an application for Miles to fill out.

Or maybe checking his references.

LMAO you guys really think they would go to Dallas? The agent does the talking. And it could be to ask formal permission to Alleva to talk to Miles.

Uh ... there is a thing called a telephone.

Or, maybe they just heard that Joseph Barksdale was homesick so they came to pick him up thinking he might transfer to Michigan.

Or, they're still after Barksdale and Jai Eugene and want to fly Eugene's family up to Michigan.

They don't realize that their eligibility is up. Losing those guys still stings.

Damnit, you beat me! I was just getting ready to post this. Thomasville (KTVI) is on the Georgia-Florida border. The plane flew from there to Baton Rouge, then from Baton Rouge to Savannah/Hilton Head. Baton Rouge wasn't just some random stop. Is Skip in town? Does he have Alleva's ear?

I think this and to inspect the type of turf they will need to lure Miles to Ann Arbor are the two most likely reasons.

And they wanted some Cane's. Cane's hasn't made its way to Michigan yet.
