IF Michigan had any sense of humor, which I highly doubt, they could have arranged a meeting with another coach in BR to accomplish exactly what is going on here.

Everyone assumes it is for Miles, but it could be with anyone. Patterson? Mullen? Dare I say Petrino?

Itd be easy as shite for Miles to fly in for an interview in BR, how long is the flight between BR and Dallas? Also why the hell would the UM plane go to Dallas? That would create even more chaos.

No the reason they are here is to get some tiger stadium turf to plant in the big house....Michigan is dotting the i's and crossing the t's. Grass is very important to Miles.

Am I misremembering or wasn't there some talk that Miles did that sort of thing before a bowl game before? Or maybe before the SECCG?

you're right....it would be very simple for Miles to hop on jet, fly to Baton Rouge to meet with UM on the day of the Cotton Bowl, and then fly back to Dallas and kick A&Ms arse.

Just as plausible as Michigan setting up a meeting with other candidates in BR

Les is still in BR.

He has his red headed doppelganger in Dallas.

Maybe they are conducting this search the same way they conducted the search for Bo Schembechler?

Explain it please. Who would they be talking to in Baton Rouge?

Alleva- No. I'm sure he is in Dallas.
Miles- Clearly Dallas.
Miles' agent- I'm sure he doesn't live in Baton Rouge, LA.

i don't think they're here to meet with anyone...its just a stop on the way to Georgia. A very, very untimely stop i might add.
