I know most of you guys don't have to worry about this, heck I don't have to worry about this in the part of the state I hunt. But if you paid big money to hunt in South TX how would you deal with illegals crossing your ranch or lease. Would you feel safe, how much money would you spend on securing all your goods, or would you just leave it open for them to use. Would you continue hunting in South TX or would you find something else.

I have heard that some of the ranches there have ladders every couple hundred yards so the illegals can cross the high fence without cutting

There should be a shoot first ask questions later policy on these invaders.

I'd call the authorites on their arse. Right after they finished with the old lady's flower beds of course.

It's pretty ridiculous how common this is. Oughta treat em like dogs without collars and shoot their asses, but the democrats would be all over you. shite you have em on camera, call the border patrol I guess, but im sure they wouldnt do anything. Maybe you can make an "illegal trap", kinda like a hog trap, use beans as bait!

Tough situation. As long as they aren't tearing shite up I wouldn't do anything other than calling border patrol. Unfortunately, anything more than that will probably get you in trouble.

Call BP everytime you see one or signs of one. Maybe they'll start frequenting your area more and the illegals will find another route.

i hunt in west texas too and its on the border. i am waiting for the day when i open p my stand and there is an illegal curled up in there

when i was little we would see them running away from us thinking we were the border patrol and they would run and jump into catuses trying to hide from us

I hunted outside of Brackettville a few years ago. I saw several dozen illegals during the course of a 4 day hunt. We called the border patrol with GPS coordinates and everything. They indicated they were too busy to follow up..

This pic was taken of trash dumped by illegals in a well known border crossing in AZ. According to the State in some areas the refuse is upwards of 5 feet deep..

I hunt S Tx between Freer and Hebronville.
We leave everything unlocked, leave water available outside the camp houses and sometimes beans.

If you call the Border Patrol they will come by your ranch a few times a week. Once the Coyotes see the BP in the area, they will change the route they send the 'walkers' on. Most of them don't mess with anything and move only at night.

If you want the Muy Grande, you get the walkers too.
