He's almost got the "SHAQ" personality that just draws you to him.
I could see him being a great ambassador for LSU for LONG time

I agree with that.
Just wait until he gets a lot of money and stops caring what people think, he'll be funny like Shaq is.

I met him at lsu football camp the summer before his sophomore season and the kid is hilarious. When he's not in pads he is a clown and he is very fun to be around. Shaq is a very good comparison!

Not to mention he is doing WORK on the field, as well as off the field as well

edited to take out the innuendo that some, like you, might have drawn from it

i was being corny probably.... i was thinking the funny work off the field was "clowneying around"
Posted on 1/3/11 at 5:41 pm to BigEdLSU
And to let you know, Freak is doing some "Clowneying" around
Posted on 1/3/11 at 5:43 pm to GeauxAggie972

He sings, plays hoops and was the starting left back on the OPW soccer team last year. He is truly a "Freak".

I locked him down in basketball when we played them freshman year.

Johnson also credits another football player from the city of New Orleans, LSU DT Drake Nevis, as a significant factor in his life. Nevis played his high school football at nearby John Ehret High, the two have known each other for close to a decade and their friendship grows stronger by the year.
"Drake has been a huge influence for me," Johnson said. "He's a great player and a person who believes in God. He, like me, is a gentle giant that's a demon on-field. I love Drake. He has meant a lot to me."
I liked that part

freshman year.
He looked almost the exact same then as he does now. His beard might have been longer then.....

Agree? Disagree?
The freak is as impressive during UA practices as Bowers was? I think they're comparable, and bowers is a monster
