Took TCU from the absolute dumps to consistent 10, 11 win seasons.

He'll end up somewhere different soon.

No he won't. He's turned down countless interviews for better jobs already. And that was when TCU was in the Mountain West. They're going to be in the Big East in 2012. TCU's going to dominate that conference for years to come and be in a BCS game every year. There's no chance Patterson leaves now.

There's probably a small handful of frog boosters who have done whatever it takes to make a coach love his school. At this point in his career, I think it would have to be one hell of an offer.

He's the best coach in the nation and no one can convince me otherwise.

Agreed. If Les left for whatever reason, I would back the Brinks truck up to his house. 5 year / 4 mill per year

Instead of being a jerk next time, just don't reply. You might feel better.

Just looking at his wikipedia page. Dude has coached at some random arse schools and in some weird places like for the Oregon Lighting Bolts in the Professional Spring Football League

He's a big part of why they've improved, but to be fair, Francione was the head coach when they first won 10 games.

,,,he's OK ...he'll have his Urban Meyer years soon. That is 8-4 and 7-5s..maybe the Big (not) East will prop him up a lil longer ..

And who was the DC?
You guessed it Gary was

And who was he lucky enough to have on offense?
Ladanian Tomlinson

When Francione left TCU, the
school was left searching for a suitable replacement. That's when GP stepped up and took over at HC and the rest is history. He got an oppurtunity at TCU for HC for the first time. He is fiercly commited to the community and the school.

Gary Patterson is going nowhere!

Life will be much tougher in the Big East

I know the conference blows, but week in week out it will be much different playing four full quarters of football and dealing with injuries and the "grind of a season"

Wish you all nothing but the best, great win tonight

That's why I said he's a big part of why TCU improved. Certainly Franchione deserves credit, being that he was the HC and all, and the team was 1-10 the year before he took over (they went 7-5 in his first year).

He and his staff are no joke. They do amazing things with kids who star wise aren't special. The recruit hard working football players and make them fit.

Congrats TCU

I concur. It's just a matter of who at this point.
