Spoke to some "other" RHS peeps and some Dunhamites and they confirmed...sorry for any anguish over my previous question.

Latest report I heard was that Hill said Bama and LSU are his leaders. I'm not sure the kid has any idea where he wants to go right now. It sounds like the last coach to talk to him before signing day will get him.

Why is there always smoke about a kid from LA goin to bama and his coach getting a spot on thier staff?

First, it was Joe Mcknight and JT curtis, then janzen and his dad, then sylve and his coach, now hill and his coach. Whos next? Landon Collins and his coach?

Because LSU fans have to make up reasons to rationilize why a kid chose another school.

Any of those guys get spots on a staff?

I remember this board was saying that UT got Janzen's dad the job at whatever MAC school he is now, and that we were going to bring him over after a year.

BTW I think he's the Interim head coach at whatever school he's at.

I'm done with Hill. Its pretty clear that he's going to play against LSU, in its own division. Not much I can say nice about him, right now, so just best to just move on.

No it wasn't. Doesn't his dad coach DB's?

Kiffin was never going to fire Garza, he was hand picked by Monte...hell he took him to USC.

Think about how crazy that sounds.

UT placed Lance Guidry at Miami of Ohio, so that we could hire him the following year, and replace a coach that was hand picked by NFL Hof DC.

Hell you could say we paid Janzen, and I'd believe it. that dad coaching thing is rediculous.

There were rumors of Janzen to bama also. UT came out of nowhere. LSU fans were aware Janzen may be wavering and bama was the school everyone feared at the time. I cant remember, but it wouldnt suprise me of there were rumors about Rayville's coach when bama was all over chris tolliver and Kenny Bell.

Exactly, nothing ever happened with any of them getting a spot on sabans staff.

Ill be sure to ask Burton Burns when I meet him on the sideline at the bama bowl game though.

Wouldn't suprise me if Hill left but I doubt one of his coaches goes to bama.

You are right.

So he called Haywood.

No.

UT never had any intent on hiring him. They just needed to get Guidry out of LA, and closer to UT.

Mission Accomplished.

I'm glad they did. Kid is trouble.

His mom hasn't decided for him yet. When she does, we'll all know.
