Does anyone remember him? He graduated around 77 and was drafted by the Miami Dolphins. He was ROY in 77 or 78. I think he played LB. I ask because I'm related to him. We're distant cousins. Just wanted to know if anyone remembered him playing.

That's a silly question. He is one of the all time greats to put on the purple and gold. How could we not remember?

I was in school at LSU then and he was a great player. He also had some very good years as a Miami Dolphin. For back in early 70's he was a huge player. He left all he had on the field in the big games. Very Dominating!

I've never met him. I just think it's cool that I'm related to someone that was NFL ROY.

A.J. was a great defensive end at LSU who went on to play linebacker for the Dolphins as I recall. He once had a 3-interception game in the AFC championship to get the Dolphins into the SuperBowl(With another LSU product David Woodley, quarterbacking the team). He should be in the Dophins Honor Roll list but hasn't made it yet that I've heard.

He slept with my sister's roommate, as did most of the football & basketball teams.

If you are over 40, you remember him. He was a great player and a great guy as well.

I actually played against AJ Duhe in high school. The thing that I remember is that he really didn't hit very hard. That's because he grabbed my jersey and threw me around like a rag doll.

He was a great one for LSU and rookie of the year when he went to the Fins

aj duhe was a 'damn strong' football player and, IMHO, his name is synonomous with LSU football.

AJ was a stud, I have a photo taken at the Orange Bowl of him being double teamed by a couple of Cornhusker lineman....still made the play. He's my favorite Tiger of all time....of course we do share the same last name so I'm partial to him.

I knew a relative of his, and remember his days as a Dolphin very well.

I grew up close to Duhe property, but not where he lived.

I remember when they were filming Everybody's All-American during my days at LSU, AJ separated the shoulder or broke the arm of Dennis Quaid.

I remembered him mostly from his time with the Dolphins.

I was 8 years old when he graduated from LSU and back then I don't remember watching many LSU games on TV.
