Doesn't seem like there's much here worth a damn, but are there any good places that I need to try for lunch?

TIA

They have pretty good Po-Boys and I think they do a plate lunch.

Mabile's is a good suggestion, they have the best shrimp poboy I've had anywhere.

You can also head out towards Peavine, someone has reopened the old Snack Shack out on the lake, and I've heard it's pretty good.

Hate this place. Have always hated this place. It has ruined Chinese food for LaPlace residents. For so long, because it was the only Chinese food in town, people actually thought it was good, now, they don't know the difference.

Sadly, though, there is no really good Chinese food in town.

ETA: And Mabile's is a good choice, there hot sausage po-boy is my favorite.
