This is a different one that is 400x100.. I rather this size.
The copy of cs5 I have isn't legal, so maybe it was left out in the rip and I'd be better off using gimp..

Yeah, downloaded Gimp, opened the .psd and saved as .gif, bam under 30 kb.. Tried to make it my sig, guess I gotta wait for approval from admins?

For your Ps issue:
Try Flatten Image and then see if GIF, JPG, etc. come up as file types when you Save As.
Ps treats layers differently in terms of a background layer versus additional layers. Flatten the image and you make sure that you are just dealing with a Background layer. Which is fine for a sig without transparent areas.
