I recently bought a Roku and LOVE it. I bought the middle of the pack Roku (XD) because I wanted the extended range wireless with 802.11n compatibility and wanted the ability to run 1080p. It has been a great little device.
ETA: I didn't go the Blu-ray route b/c I already have a PS3 for my main TV and wasn't interested in another Blu-ray player, just wanted to be able to stream netflix in the bedroom.
