Alright so this scenario happening is hard to see, but if we win out and the Falcons lose to Carolina, we would win the division, but what seed would we get?

#1 assuming we are over iggles if they were 12-4 also, look up on the tiebreakers for that

TO BREAK A TIE FOR THE WILD-CARD TEAM
If it is necessary to break ties to determine the two Wild-Card clubs from each conference, the following steps will be taken.
1. If the tied clubs are from the same division, apply division tie breaker.
2. If the tied clubs are from different divisions, apply the following steps.
Two Clubs
1. Head-to-head, if applicable.
2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.
4. Strength of victory.
5. Strength of schedule.
6. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
7. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
8. Best net points in conference games.
9. Best net points in all games.
10. Best net touchdowns in all games.
11. Coin toss.
Three or More Clubs
(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-club format.)
1. Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. The original seeding within a division upon application of the division tie breaker remains the same for all subsequent applications of the procedure that are necessary to identify the two Wild-Card participants.
2. Head-to-head sweep. (Applicable only if one club has defeated each of the others or if one club has lost to each of the others.)
3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.
5. Strength of victory.
6. Strength of schedule.
7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
9. Best net points in conference games.
10. Best net points in all games.
11. Best net touchdowns in all games.
12. Coin toss
When the first Wild-Card team has been identified, the procedure is repeated to name the second Wild-Card, i.e., eliminate all but the highest-ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. In situations where three or more teams from the same division are involved in the procedure, the original seeding of the teams remains the same for subsequent applications of the tie breaker if the top-ranked team in that division qualifies for a Wild-Card berth.

not my hoping but my guess on the remaining games ends up with-
11-5 nyg @ 10-6 chi
12-4 SAINTS @ 7-9 49ers
both very winnable for the wildcards which result in
11-5 nyg @ 13-3 atl
12-4 SAINTS @ 12-4 iggles
again both very winnable. someone wanna look up if there's ever been 2 wildcards in a conference championship game?
11-5 nyg @ SAINTS NFCCG, return to SB
my afc-
12-4 jets at 11-5 KC, i go jets
12-4 ravens @ 10-6 colts, ravens
12-4 nyj @ 14-2 pats, go pats
12-4 ravens @ 12-4 pitt, go pitt
pitt @ NE AFCCG, pats
Pats @ Saints home team SB, best team of the last decade vs. the new best team of this decade
repeat 38-31
44yd TD to Meachem with :42 left in game

NFC Playoffs are setting up as a "Dome Bracket" (NO at STL, winner at ATL) vs. an "Outdoor Bracket" (NYG at PHI, winner (if PHI) at CHI). If the current matchups hold and PHI beats NYG, the Saints would only have to play one outdoor game (NFC Championship)!

Bears have NYJ @ home and go to GB 01/02
Philly has queens and boys at home
I'd say they're percentages of the #2 seed look about right with philly 58% & bears 41%
looked it up...

I'd love to see us have to go to Chicago again and beat those punks at home.

Looks like we're guaranteed at least the 5 seed if GB beats NYG (well on the way) and Seattle beats TB, so we can rest up week 17 if we lose to Atl.

***SAINTS PLAYOFF SCENARIOS FOR DUMMIES***
1. Saints WIN one of their 2 remaining games: Saints clinch 5th seed
2. Saints WIN both of their 2 remaining games:
a. Falcons beat Panthers = Saints clinch 5th seed
b. Falcons lose to Panthers = Saints clinch 1st seed
3. Saints LOSE both of their 2 remaining games: Green Bay MUST lose to Chicago and New York MUST lose to Washington for Saints to clinch 6th seed

frick all this nonsense. saints win out, we pray like hell carolina upsets the falcons, and we get home field throughout

Crazy that with less than a week left in the regular season, Saints are anywhere from the #1 overall seed to out of the playoffs. And I wouldn't be all that surprised to see either one happen.
P.S. Go Chiefs!
