Doesn't matter if it is or isn't; SEC splits all bowl profits evenly amongst the 12 teams

In case anyone is interested, the Auburn AD explains bowl payouts above.
Basically there is very little difference in payout to the school as the bulk of the money goes to the SEC and is divided 13 ways equally.

its a combined 7.15 mill for both teams.
