Kids and I got to his cage around 1pm Sat, there was no Mike but a trainer in his cage picking up poo and she said they were trying to get him in the trailer(or at least that is what someone said). Well he didn't show in the stadium and did not show the whole day in his cage (at least from about 1:30 till after the walking down the hill parade) so the fans got zilch on seeing him on game day.

They either need to somehow get his big hairy arse in his the trailer or just forget about it and make sure he is outside in his enclosure for fans and visitors to enjoy. Time to stop babying that big pussy...

I just joking on making him do anything as he is a big friggin cat but still, kinda disappointing all the kids there for the game did not get to see him which was one of the fun things to do on game days...

You should go break into the cage and tell him how you feel.

Mike was great the Friday before the Alabama game. He was moving all over his habitat. Sorry he was MIA for you and your kids.

I brought my son by the cage on Sunday morning, and Mike was very active. Swimming, pacing. Then a trainer was there and Mike was very playful.

remember, this tiger is still relatively young - lots of energy, and not fully cooperative yet. think of your two-year-old and how cooperative they are.

They drug the frick out of him on game day. Bring your kids by any other day and they'll be in for a treat.

This is false. I noticed he didn't make it into his traveling cage, so I walked my kids around the PMAC and next to Mike's habitat. We were between the habitat and the track and field stadium, and Mike was walking back and forth along those bushes. We could see him fine.

This was right after the band passed because we watched them walk right by us to go and play for the TAF in the PMAC.

I hope she is paid well. I would imagine that a tiger that eats a ton of raw meat takes pretty big dumps.

They shouldn't take him to the stadium, just let him stay in his digs.

You know this is ultimately Les' fault. He's the coach, fire him.

Here's proof from Sunday.

Same experience. My 3 year old asked all morning to see the tiger so we walked all the way from highland and stadium around noon. no tiger in the habitat or the cage behind the habitat. 0-3 this year on him seeing the tiger on gameday. You would think they would have him on display, especially homecoming. As far as getting him into the cage, how bout just putting a 20 lb. ribeye in it. I'm sure he would jump right in.

Not a huge deal however, we can see a tiger at the zoo. He knows the tiger at the zoo is not Mike though

Passed by his cage Friday night before the Basketball game. His traveling cage was backed up and opened onto his habitat. He was walking into and back out of his cage. I thought it seemed like a good solution to get him acclimated to his cage.

I guess it didn't work Saturday.

jesus christ.....the team wins 51-0 and the fans bitch about the frickING TIGER?!?! its a wild animal that under normal circumstances would be eating Gazelle and sleeping. But you want the university to force it out so your kids can look at it....really?

ETA: you wanna watch football come to LSU, if you wanna see a tiger go to the damn zoo
