I love posts like this. TCU could succeed in any conference in the nation this year.

Seriously can some of yal not watch football and see how good this team is? Do yal not know they start 21 seniors? Their OL and DL (where championships start) are as good or better than any in the nation. They have the best defense in the nation, period. Their QB is probably the most underrated in the nation. They have a great return man and (I could argue) the best head coach in the nation.

TCU beats LSU by 14.

What was your Florida prediction? What about your Bama prediction, Nostradamus? I think you are taking your name too seriously.

I'll give you that TCU and Boise are good this year and on any given day can play with anyone in the country. But, if they had to play a SEC, Big 12, Big 10 schedule they wouldn't be undefeated.

Considering that they beat Oregon State (with a losing record in Pac10), Baylor, Utah (Claim to fame - beating Pitt , Iowa St) - how did you analyze or jump to the conclusion that in the hypothetical game of playing in any conference -that they would succeed?

Please read the above argument regarding comparison.

Au with Cam beat us with a 1 TD differential and TCU (with a non-tebow type player) is going to top that.

Like someone else mentioned - you are probably reading too much into and believing your own user name.

I have to agree with you(maybe not 14) but TCU is a very good football team this yr. Now year in year out they would be a middle of the pack SEC team. But this yr, if one of the top two teams slip, then TCU will be in the big game.

Same thing was said last year when they got their arse handed to them by Boise St. If TCU played in the SEC, they would have at least two losses this year already.

Perhaps, but with that kinda schedule do we really know?

How would LSU, Bama, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, and So. Carol. look on D with that schedule?

They may well succeed in the SEC, but that's different than winning the SEC.

Not saying they aren't good, but shouldn't you at least play some of the best to be seen as the best?

See that's the things. They look great I will give you that but look at what kind of teams they look great against. It's really hard to say how good they are when they play such crappy teams every week and at the very most face teams several weeks apart that are as good as the 5th or 6th best teams in the SEC in Utah and Baylor.

Whether TCU could beat any given SEC team in a single game is not the point, Nostra-dumbass.

The point is that even this years TCU team would at least have 2 or 3 losses if they had to play an SEC schedule week after week.

Hey FootballNostradamus:

Your quote:
quote:

They (TCU) have the best defense in the nation, period

Are you basing this on their defensive stats this year? These are skewed my friend since their opponents and weak & under .500 combined! The teams they've stopped do not include strong offense teams like Auburn, Arkansas, or anyone with a national ranking in offense.

You are clearly biased, and not dealing with the facts. Your emotions & opinions are strong, and I can respect that, and I agree TCU is a very strong team, but I cannot respect what they've done this year based on the SOS. PERIOD!
