It's a football game, not a broadway play. This is Baton Rouge, Louisiana. People get drunk. More specifically, this is the LSU Student section, 18-24 year olds.

Get over it. It has always been like this, and it always will be. If you don't like the atmosphere then stay home where it's nice and quiet for you.

ETA: Where do the players go to when they celebrate big plays, winning, etc....the student section. They must appreciate what the student section brings to the stadium.

You're right, but to deny the importance of the student section is ridiculous. You speak as if you were a well behaved student who never drank, cursed or thought improperly of women back in the day. Give me a break. Does the drunken vulgarity make the student section look bad? Absolutely. Does the exodus of the older fans after halftime, coupled with the late arrival of that majority, exemplify a half assed fanhood. Absolutely. Don't you dare brag about the excellent atmosphere that death valley imposes upon opponents and then bitch about the student section. That atmosphere would be non existent without the students.
