I won't say that TCU is trash, but they play a trash schedule.
If they could beat the 2 teams that played in the SECCG the last 2 years, then I would say they have done enough to be in the championship.
Boise's bullshite speaks for itself. They're good, but sorry they haven't done enough to be in there.

The leader of the Pac-10's resume normally appears kind of lean because of their true round-robin schedule. Not saying the Ducks are the best team in the nation, as LSU's defense would put a hurting on them, but it is was it is and 9 conference games creates 5 extra losses per year for that league.
