Pros

1. W-L record
2. Recruiting
3. With a month to prepare his teams play well

Cons
1. Recruiting-gets too much credit for recruting a state rich in talent and facilites are 2nd to none. Everyone wants to say what did Hallman and Dinardo do etc....well LSU was not a powerhouse and did not have the facilities it has now.
2. Clock management
3. Gameday coaching
4. Interviews
5. Player loyalty- an obvious hinderance considering he remains loyal to players that are not producing.
6. Indecisive- kept GC too long!

Could be debated. Case in point: Cap One Bowl last year. Of course there was the field, but it was the same for Penn State too.

this is sophistry. in his time at lsu, his staff has been exceptional in recruiting.

Clock management
3. Gameday coaching
name the coach who does not have these problems or some equivalent

Interviews
who cares about this? clearly, it's not affecting recruiting or the outcome of games.

Player loyalty
if you were at every practice and meeting, then this criticism might have some validity

Indecisive
no coach is perfect when it comes to working with, hiring, firing assistants.
