We are 1-7 against teams ranked in the Top 11 (at kickoff) during the same span (i.e. we lost twice to teams ranked 11 - Florida in 2008 and Penn State in 2010).

Our sole victory against an opponent ranked in the Top 10 at the time of the game was a 26-21 defeat of a grossly overrated Auburn team early in 2008.

We simply have been unable to win games against marquee opponents over the last three years.

This per the schedules and results on LSUSports.net.

You're not going to beat top programs without a QB.....it's pretty simple.

They were #1 when they beat us last year.

You can't post negative stats like that. In three weeks, we will be 8-2 and all will be right with the world. No problems here at LSU.
