Seriously guys, I don't think I've seen the Rant pile up on a current LSU player as much as they are piling up on JJ right now.

Lets take a deep breath and just chill for a couple of days. I can put myself in JJ's shoes and I know that being torn down by the fans of the school that I love and play for would either make me start to hate playing ball or I would feel unwanted.

And JL came back 100x better for it.

Honestly, what's been said on here the last 6 weeks or so has been no worse than what was said about Jarrett Lee from about half way through '08 until the Vandy game this year.

1. earn your scholarship that taxpayers pay for

2. Lee was jumped on way worse and is now better from it

If he wasn't so frickin negative on the field and was mature enough to understand that when me makes mistakes he should own up to them i think id maybe feel for the guy a little

people are piling on Les Miles for being such a freaking retard. I've heard numerous people say that they feel sorry for JJ that Les is putting him in this position.

the pile is on Miles, not Jefferson. yes, people may use the pathetic play of Jefferson to pile on Miles, but it's deserved. Miles refuses to play the guy who is playing the best now. And, he is making the situation 10x worse for JJ by doing so.

I agree with the original post. Enough already. Let's make this about who the best QB is and stop making it so bitter. I have no real understanding of Miles' strategy, but as long as he's the head coach, it's his call. JJ and JL are still just 20-21yo college students. Could you imagine being under that kind of scrutiny?

I have seen the positigers absolutely rip JLee a new a-hole for stuff that happened 2 years ago all in the name of defending Miles use of JJ. Lee getting hammered by the positigers is on par with JJ getting piled on.

Agreed. The problem is not with JJ, he is doing what he is told by Les Miles. Les Miles has created the unhealthy situation by playing a QB that has been unproductive while a much more productive QB has been made to stand on the sidelines. Going forward, all responsibility for wins and loses is Les Miles' and his alone.

Here's how it works:

When someone on the rant says "Lee should play more" or "Lee should start" stop trying to reply with bs like "JJ is good too" or "JJ opens up the running game / passing game / gives defenses something to think about."

You know that the negative comments are true, yet in defending the player you open p the whole thing to a huge debate.

Put in another way: 1000 ranters total, 990 think that JJ is better, 10-20 post about it. Yet the other 10 ranters insist on trying to "school" everyone else on the facts. Its like denying evolution for crying out loud. You're just asking for the rest of the ranters to jump in.

Give up on denying the facts. People will get tired of posting that Lee should play more and why.

Agreed. The mods are asleep at the wheel. This has been going on for five weeks.
