Here's the total sum of work for the last 2 games, minus Ford's final TD scoring drive against McNeese. I dont recall who was at QB.

Jordan Jefferson
11 possessions
212 Total Yards
7 punts
0 TD
3 FG
1 INT
1 Fumble

Jarrett Lee
11 possessions
346 total yards
3 punts
7 TD
1 missed FG
0 INT
0 Fumble

Note: If a QB started the drive, he received credit for the whole drive.

If this doesnt scream start Lee, nothing will.

Also, if any of you are lucky enough to call in (or appear in person) to the Les Miles show at TJ Ribs, Id LOVE someone to present these stats to Miles, then ask him who will start.

Im not hung up on the "starting" label as much as im concerned that having JJ in the game likely wastes a posession where Lee could have scored a TD. (stats show Lee is more likely to score than punt, JJ is more likely to punt than score)

In other words, having JJ on the field is likely taking points off the board.

we cant afford to piss away possessions this week.

Don't forget about the Jefferson fumble inside the 5 yard line that lead to the McNeese score.

Just curious, do you know how many drives were JL ONLY? How many TDs this year have come from JL only drives? Also how many redzone turnovers do each have?

Clearly, both QBs are playing well and there isn't much basis to pick one over the other.

My best shot at a question for Miles' radio program on Wednesday:

Coach, how do you respond to those fans who criticize the decision to continue playing Jordan Jefferson based on objective statistics, such as the team has more yards, points and fewer turnovers when Lee is in the game?

I think lee should see about 70-75% of the snaps. Auburns defense isnt that good so JJ MIGHT throw 4-5 times. Im ok with that.
