re: WVU is 5-1

Ehh, none of the teams are particularly strong this year, but most of them are pretty good. They're all respectable opponents at least, and it won't be easy to get road wins at UConn and Pitt. Not that winning those games would be a landmark achievement, but they are moderately difficult games.
