Then by assuming that the original helmet probably would sell for several hundreds of dollars, what would be a reasonable amount for a replica?

Depending on the type and quality, $150-200, with the Revolution (assuming it's real/non-game used) at the upper end.

The original White Helmets from the 1997 Independence Bowl were sold for $200. They literally just lined them up in the old Gift Shop in the stadium and anyone could go in there and buy them. The more popular players and face mask styles went quickly.

My understanding is that game worn gear is available on campus at the book store. Does it sell quickly or do they usually keep a good many items in there for sell to satify the customers ?? Or do they sell it just a certain times in the season.

And, will there ever be a replica of the Nike pro combat helmet ?? Anyone know ???
