I suggested a .264 Win. Mag. I own a .260 Rem, .270 Rem and .243 Win. The .264 Win Mag wins hand down and will out preform any caliber you listed.

Out of everything that has been listed I'd probably pick the .308 for reasons stated.

But, If you want to look at the some of the more obscure rounds I'd bet that than none of them would beat a .257 Weatherby.

Maybe in your case, but when most benchrest shooters are moving to 6 mm br there has to be a reason. Afterall it is 6mm BenchRest.
